2006
World Cups (Man and Women weight system) every four
years once were grandly held in The Sydney Entertainment
Centre on November 4, 5. It was huge stadium that was
held a concert of famous singer someday. When the rally
was held now, we wish to express our gratitude to Shihan
John Taylor and a lot of people. Also, I want to say
the reward to people who were not able to take a visa
and could not join in with them.
The participation countries
were North America, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa,
Swaziland and so on. Four Samurai and three Yamatonadeshiko
took part in them from Japan. I thought “Who was the
central figure?” before rally. At that time, African
player began to sing and danced cheerfully behind stage.
Also, they song and danced in a locker room.
Every class was high level
from a preliminary, and they are developed white heat
match. We saw stained scene in some matches, for example
KO scene by turning kick and one people was hit on his
face and he knocked down there. Japanese players fought
doing them best to honor of the home country of the
Karate. But, an overseas player superior to physical
strength was raising the level for example technique,
power, and speed. Iran and Russia that won an overwhelming
victory before World Cup could not relax them guard.
I had my eyes glued to Swaziland player's good fight,
but they could win a prize in this time. Host nation
Austria could win a prize in Man and Women class. Also,
Kazakhstan, South Africa, Ukraine, U.K were wonderful,
so they will aim at winning a prize in the world rally
in the future.
Each
class of Kazakhstan team won a prize in Europe rally
of Poland last November. Rakhimov of right class was
made to do KO in the final round. The referee passed
judgment on him because he was hit his chin. Nurabyev
of heavy class and Magosi of Hungary began a fight,
but Nurabyev was punched suddenly onto the face and
made to down. Everyone thought he could not continue
a rally, but he challenged to a fight after getting
better. The spectators encouraged to him. However, a
championship was Magosi. His (KAKATO-OTOSHI) needed
care especially because he was 190cm tall. Goncharov
of Ukraine team got the technique award, and every Ukraine
player won a prize in there. The activity in the future
looks forward to me. Mokoena of South Africa team who
was small got the fighting-spirit award. Also, I was
expecting another South Africa player's activity.
In women's right class,
Gridneva of Kazakhstan got a championship. Her weapon
was Jodan-mawashigeri. In same right class, Kukarina
of Russia was lifeless in Europe rally on November 2005
because of bad health. In this time, she came in 3rd
place. The hall got exciting in the middle class's final
round that was Wood of Australia and Richard of Canada.
Richard was champion of the heavyweight class in World
rally weight system 2004. They were same physique and
pace in rally each other so tied to approach. But, It
was a problem for them because they often tried to grip
it. Wood got a championship by judgment.
In women's heavy class, Davies of New Zealand got a
championship that was her dearest wish. She let miss
a championship in World Cup 2004 because she was punched
on her face. Before this rally, customary New Zealand
cheerleaders were getting psyched up by “Hakka” of the
aborigine Maori.
Kaori Ishihara of Japan
got a fighting-spirit award in women's class. She was
punched on her face in the halfway of rally, but she
putted out the punch to the last minute and fought.
Because she was small, it remained in everyone's impression.
Her action gave courage to a Japanese player. Each the
final round didn't put superiority or inferiority easily.
The audience was exciting in there. The level far exceeded
the expectation. A Japanese player could not win only
by straight line movement, so I wish they can take a
circle movement unconsciously. Also, it was a problem
about their strength.
The World Cup in 2010 is a schedule of holding in Spain.
