¡Final: Yasuto Tanaka Vs. Hiroshi Sugai
At the same time as the Taiko drum beat started the match, Sugai began attacking with punches and low kicks. Tanaka responded with middle kicks and punches of his own and they were locked in a tug-of-war for quite a while. Sugai began to throw knee kicks to both sides of his opponent's body but these were well blocked by Tanaka and the match was declared a draw. For the entire extension they fought with full power pounding each other with a variety of techniques but again the judges declared a draw. This saw the fighters in a weight test (if the weight difference is more than 10 kg's the lighter fighter is awarded the match) however, there was very little difference between these two competitors and the final decision rested on the results of Tameshiwari test (where as the fighter breaking the most number of boards is awarded the match). Sugai broke 12 boards and Tanaka managed 13, therefore giving Tanaka the title.

¡Match for 3rd place: Shota Furutachi Vs. Hideki Kurihara
This match saw both competitors attacking from the start with punches, but Furutachi gained the upper hand early throwing his favourite knee kicks, after 23 seconds. Furutachi was awarded Ippon by landing a left knee to Kurihara's head.

¡Semi final #1: Shota Furutachi Vs. Yasuto Tanaka
For the first half of the match, both competitors were feeling each other out. Furutachi was using single attacks of roundhouse kicks managing to block Tanaka's counter attacks of punches. The last half of the match saw both fighters throwing combinations of low kicks and punches however, neither fighter was able to score and it was declared a draw. In the first extension, Tanaka used short techniques to try however, his attempt was defused by Furutachi's superior foot work, again the judges declared a draw. With the match going to the Tameshiwari, Tanaka was awarded the fight due to his higher level of boards broken.

¡Semi final #2: Hiroshi Sugai Vs. Hideki Kurihara
Both fighters started actively, throwing punches and both low and middle roundhouse kicks, but after that Kurihara settled into using only punches and it was turning into a monotonous fight. Sugai retaliated with a good balance of punches and kicks and drove Kurihara into the corner and the judges awarded the match to Kurihara.

¡Quarterfinal #1: Tatsuya Katakai Vs. Shota Furutachi
From the beginning of the match, Katakai started boldly attacking Furutachi with punches and low kicks, however, Furutachi fought back with single techniques of his favourite roundhouse kicks and knee kicks and the match went to a draw. Katakai didn't stop attacking during the extension but again Furutachi fought back. The second half of the fight, Katakai punched Furutachi accidentally in the face on two occasions, he received two penalties and under the rules the judges had to award the fight to Furutachi.

¡Quarterfinal #2: Tsubasa Arai Vs. Hiroshi Sugai
Both fighters were throwing strong, well balanced techniques at each other at a constant level through out this match, but Sugai's fitness were better than Arai’s and he won by judges decision 4-0.

¡Quarterfinal 3: Hideki Kurihara Vs. Kuniaki Sunouchi
Both fighters were giving good sharp punches and strong low kicks with great speed through out the first half of this fight, but Kurihara controlled the last half by setting the pace and was awarded the win.

¡Several demonstrations by junior students, females and instructors were held in between the matches, there were a variety of Kihon, Ido geiko and Jiyu Kumite along with the following kata.
Junior Students - Taikyoku 1, Tsuki No and Saiha
Female Students - Pinan 1 and Seienchin
