Johnstoneward, Shannyn 1st dan (Australia) vs. Syelina, Yoliya 1st kyu (Russia)

Johnstoneward started to throw a technique of right and left Gedan geri. Syelina fought back with Seken zuki from vertical angle to her chest area. Unfortunately, the Seiken zuki accidentally landed on Johnstonewards’ face. So it was Chui Ichi. At the end of the match, Johnstoneward received another penalty from Syelina, therefore a Chui Ichi x2 was given with a 1 point reduction this time.
The winner was Johnstoneward by 4-0.

Bromand, Roya 1st dan (Iran) vs. Gill, Avril 2nd kyu (Australia)

Bromand threw a machine gun like Seiken zuki. On the other hand, Gill counter attacked with a Jodan uchi mawashi geri and repeatedly threw Seikenzuki with Gedan geri. During that time, Gill was being stopped during the movements and Bromand tried to push her with Seiken zuki with no advantage. It was a draw. The extended match was the same as the main match. There was no difference in their fight. In the 2nd extended match, Gill started with Chudan mawashigeri and although she was 43 years old, had an impressive stamina. She became the winner of that match by 4-0.

3RD PLACE DECISION MATCH

Syelina, Yoliya 1st kyu (Russia) vs. Bromand, Roya 1st dan (Iran)

Bromand withdrew from the match. Syelina became the winner by default.

FINAL

Johnstoneward, Shannyn 1st dan (Australia) vs. Gill, Avril 2nd kyu (Australia)

It became the final within the same Australia team. Johnstoneward, who positioned closer with the opponent, attacked with Shitazuki and Chudan geri (middle kick). Gill was backing up with a uke defense. Johnstoneward tried to be closer to the opponent with Uraken Shitazuki to push opponent outside of the mat. Johnstoneward was finally the winner of this Final match by 4-0.
