Ishihara, Kaori 1st dan (Japan) vs. Herczeg, Lilla 2nd dan (Hungary)
With the start of “Hajime” by the referee, Ishihara stepped forward with loud voice kiai! With a Jodan geri hitting Ishihara from an unexpected angle, it was followed with a Mae geri (front kick) and Kakato otoshi (axe kick) landing on her face. However, Ishihara was the last hope for Japan team. She never stopped stepping forward against Herczeg. She threw a right and a left Seiken zuki to Herczeg but she had a cut on her face so the match has to be time out for a moment. Unfortunately, It was 0-5 for Ishihara.

Ghegar, Svetlana 2nd kyu (Ukraine) vs. Kukarina, Anna 2nd dan (Russia)
Kukarina repeatedly threw fast Seiken zuki and a right Mawashigeri hitting Ghegar effectively. In the middle of the match, Kukarina was starting to slow down the pace so Ghegar tried Seiken zuki with Gedangeri against Kukarina. At the end of the match, Ghegar pushed Kukarina out of the arena. The judges decision was Ghegar by 4 - 0. |

3RD PLACE DECISION MATCH |

Ishihara, Kaori 1st dan (Japan) vs. Kukarina, Anna 2nd dan (Russia)
Kukarina was throwing her techniques very effectively. As an example, when the opponent pays attention to the Jodangeri, she used a Gedangeri, and so on. Defense was the only way to survive for Ishihara. Ishihara tried to change the situation, but it was not effective. An inside Gedangeri to Ishihara by Kukarina gave her the point of Wazaari. Ishihara tried to stand against her Gedangeri until the end. Judge was 0 - 5 for Ishihara. She did not make 3rd place. So Kukarina was the winner of 3rd place. I would like to ask Ishihara to work harder to achieve the goal with a plan from now on. |

Herczeg, Lilla 2nd dan (Hungary) vs. Ghegar, Svetlana 2nd kyu (Ukraine)
Due to injury, Ghegar had to withdraw from the match. Herczeg finally became 1st place winner in Light Weight Division for the first time. The Hungary team made excellent results in this championship so she was the one who represent that result. |
